National Core Curriculum for Early Childhood Education and Care is a national regulation issued by the Finnish National Agency for Education and is used as the common basis for the local curriculum for early childhood education and care in Pyhäjoki. All children under school-age have a subjective right to early childhood education and care.
The core curriculum document steers the provision, implementation and development of early childhood education and care as well as promotes the implementation of high-quality and equal early childhood education and care in all parts of Pyhäjoki. The objective is to promote children’s holistic growth, development and learning through play in collaboration with their guardians.
